Neighborly lending
Borrow what you need from people you know.
Stash lets people lend their things to friends and neighbors - no app, no account. Browse a lender's catalogue, borrow what you need, return it when you're done.
How borrowing works
Three steps, no account, nothing to download.
Someone shares their Stash
A link they sent, or a QR code you scan on the thing itself.
You browse and ask to borrow
Open it in any browser, find what you need, and send a quick request.
They say yes
The lender approves - and you both know when it's coming back.
Borrow without giving yourself away
Stash is built so a borrow asks as little of you as possible.
Your location is never collected
Borrowing asks for a way to reach you - never where you are. Stash collects no location for the borrow, and none is ever shared.
Your contact is shared only on a loan
The lender sees how to reach you once they set up the loan - not before, and never publicly. No request goes into any public directory.
The owner confirms the return
A loan is only marked returned when the owner says so. You both know what's out and when it came back.
